Android obesity

Excess body fat that accumulates centrally around the trunk.

Also: Apple-shaped obesity

Pattern of obesity in which adipose tissue accumulates around the abdomen and viscera. Associated with greater cardiometabolic risk than gynoid (lower-body) obesity.
