Complete protein

Protein containing all essential (indispensable) amino acids in approximate amounts needed by humans.

Also: High-quality protein

Dietary protein that supplies all nine indispensable amino acids in proportions adequate to support protein synthesis. Most animal proteins (eggs, milk, meat) qualify; soy is a notable plant exception.
