What the research says

Flatulence, bloating, nausea, soft stool may occur with 20+ g doses. JECFA concerned about possible effect on fat-absorbed nutrients and drugs. In carcinogenicity study, beta-cyclodextrin caused inflammatory changes in lower GI tract considered cause of death in some animals.
