Dehydrogenases

Enzymes that catalyze reactions in which hydrogens and electrons are removed from a reactant.

Oxidoreductase enzymes that transfer hydride or hydrogen plus electrons to acceptors such as NAD+, NADP+, or FAD. Central to glycolysis, TCA cycle, and β-oxidation.
