Mole
Quantity of a substance equal to its molecular or atomic weight expressed in grams.
Also: mol
SI unit for amount of substance; 1 mol contains Avogadro's number of particles. 1 mol glucose ≈ 180.16 g; 1 mol hydrogen ≈ 1.008 g.
