What the research says
Contains aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and a methyl ester like aspartame. Some scientists view as toxic and carcinogenic like aspartame. Aspartic acid and glutamic acid load on same brain receptors, causing identical brain lesions and neuroendocrine disorders in animal studies.
