Ubiquinol

Alcohol form of ubiquinone; functions in electron transport and ATP generation.

Reduced form of coenzyme Q10, a lipid-soluble electron carrier that shuttles electrons within the inner mitochondrial membrane from Complexes I and II to Complex III. Also functions as a lipid antioxidant.
